And Tuesday arrived and with it the last day of competition for SHOWCASE CANCÚN 2022 and the eve of the end of coexistence. Tomorrow will be the last breakfast for our student-athletes of this edition all together and they will start the journey back home.
The end of an experience that we hope you have enjoyed to the fullest and the beginning of another new stage in which perhaps some will coincide again, this time, in the United States university teams and competitions.
Looking to the immediate future, there is one more stage inherent to the Showcase program and that is waiting for offers and their selection. Probably more than one has already received some feedback from some of the displaced US university observer coaches .
Later , it will be time to analyze the offers received and make a decision to take the next big step, to study with a scholarship at an American university thanks, in this case, to sports. A process in which of course we will accompany you.
And from there, I wish each and every one of them the best in their career and experience as a student in the United States.
The last day there was competition but also the end of the experience and the SIS SHOWCASE AWARDS .
From all this we will post more material and we will even incorporate a special section where participants can download photos of the event made exclusively by our team so that they have one more memory.
Like every day, there was Soccer, golf and basketball at our SIS Showcase Cancun 2022 facilities

And the players took their team photos posing with their Coach Guillermo Zagal who has accompanied them during all these days of Showcase along with our other Coach or trainer, Januario Zagal, sports psychologist.
Both Coaches, with extensive experience, have been as in past editions behind the different SIS teams among which the student-athletes have been divided in this Showcase. Thank you from here for the effort and dedication you have had with the players this week for another edition.
In golf and basketball we also had competition as it could not be otherwise, and if we mentioned the Zagal brothers before, in basketball another great American Coach has been behind the players and games; Coach and sports director Chuck Moore that we talked about the other day with an extensive curriculum this time as a Basketball coach including having been Court Coach of the United States U18 basketball team in 2018.

After so much sport of food, the final Showcase talk took place. To end the day, the SIS Awards Ceremony took place where trophies were given to the most valuable players for different reasons of the tournament.
The prizes were the following:

MVP Women’s Basket – Firdaws Fikri
MVP Soccer – Héctor Pérez
Top Soccer Scorer – Pablo Galeano
Fair Play – Samuel Fernández
And with this we officially end the SIS Showcase Cancun 2022 wishing you from this blog that officially closes its doors until next year, the best to all the student-athletes of this edition.
For a week you have been competing in different disciplines so that the coaches who were watching you in situ or via video offered you scholarships to study in the United States while you compete in your sport. You have received education, training, information about the different universities and possibilities that the American university system offers you, as well as the requirements that it entails.
And we leave almost as we started, with the official photo with all the student-athletes, coaches and Staff. Thank you all!
Showcase Cancun 2022 is over but the road does not stop, because the real road begins from now on.
